Jose Guillen blasted 2 homeruns and had 3 RBI as the Burbank Tigers defeated
the Langley Farm Team by a score of 10 to 8 at Pro Player Stadium.
Guillen helped send the fans home happy. He cleared the fences for a two-run
home run in the 1st inning and smashed a solo-shot out of the park (his 16th
of the season) in the 6th inning. Burbank had a total of 13 hits for the
game.
Yhency Brazoban(1-2) was the winner allowing no runs in 2 innings. Jason Davis
was credited with his 1st save. Brad Radke(5-10) was hit with the loss. He
served up 3 gopher balls in 4 and 1/3 innings.
The Burbank ballclub's record now stands at 43-87. Scott Whitley was pretty
down after the loss. 'We've really been sputtering along lately, something
like 1-9 in the last week or two. That won't get it done.'
